A Quality Inspector with proven experience of working within an electronic manufacturing environment, with knowledge of quality control standards (ISO 9001, ISO9001:2015) and testing methodologies will join the production team of an award-winning Technology Company.
The successful Quality Inspector will ensure that only conformed products enter the production process; identifying defects early and reducing rework as well as supporting root cause analysis and maintaining detailed documentation.
Required Skills and Experience should include:
- Previous experience of working within a manufacturing quality / inspection environment.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies.
- The ability to read engineering schematics and drawings and with basic soldering skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness to be full office based.
Key Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector role will include:
- Perform inspections using appropriate methods and removing non-conforming products.
- Communicate quality expectations across production to ensure right first time delivery.
- Create and maintain inspection documentation and records.
- Support root cause analysis teams.
- Manage calibration activities.
