The ideal Quality Engineer will possess the following:
- Proven experience of working within a manufacturing environment for complex electronic assemblies.
- Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and configuration controlled environments.
- The ability to apply specifications and quality requirements; to support root cause analysis and implement preventative actions.
- Good documentation skills; the ability to manage multiple tasks and support continuous improvement activities.
This Quality Control Engineer role will involve:
- Inspection of incoming goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitoring adherence to manufacturing quality processes and identifying problems.
- Final inspection of outgoing products including associated documentation.
- Ensuring configuration control compliance by verifying correct parts are built.
- Supporting process development throughout the full manufacturing processes.
