Bid Manager – Defence and Security – South Cambridge – to C£75K + Hybrid + Benefits- UK Security Clearance required
A Bid Manager with a technical Degree and several years’ experience bidding in a technical service environment (Defence) will take on a customer facing role, with responsibility for managing and coordinating the full bid lifecycle process.
The successful Bid Manager will be a key member of the sales team of a leading Technical Consultancy, where you’ll focus on Defence and Security.
Your background should include:
- A Degree qualification in Electronics, Physics or similar discipline.
- Experience in government procurement as well as business to business bidding.
- Proven experience of bidding in a technical services environment, predominantly in Defence.
- Preparation of commercial and technical bid or proposal documents.
- Experience of client contact.
The responsibilities of the Bid Manager will include:
- Managing the full lifecycle of bids including support to Contract negotiation.
- Preparing and delivering compelling bid content and documentation aligned with customer requirements.
- Management of government frameworks.
- Liaising with legal teams on bid information.
